SignWriting is both a tool in linguistics research, and an object of study in reading research and cultural studies.
The SignWriting software applications are commonly used as research tools. Special versions of these applications are available for supporting multi-person projects, or for offline use on mobile computers without an internet connection. For details feel free to contact us.
These applications are published under the MIT open-source license, allowing easy access to the application source code.
