SignWriting is easier to read than it is to write. This makes it an excellent learning tool for building your sign vocabulary, even if you don't plan to learn how to write it.
To learn to read SignWriting, use the SignWriting textbooks and the SignPuddle software application.
Then to learn new signs with SignWriting, study the SignWriting dictionaries that are available for your sign language. Several sign dictionaries are included in this website. Others are available online in SignPuddle.
