SignWriter

SignWriter was the first word processor for SignWriting. It supported multiple languages, and an integrated sign dictionary which could be printed in publication quality.

SignWriter was developed initially for the Apple II. It was then ported to the IBM PC as a DOS application, where it gained support for dictionaries and multiple languages.

The free distribution of SignWriter on the internet helped spread the use of SignWriting worldwide.

SignWriter was developed by Richard Gleaves.
