SWift

SWift was a web-based digital editor for SignWriting. It featured a unique user interface element for entering SignWriting symbols: the stylized image of a person, which was used to simplify the process of selecting the proper symbols for a given sign.

SWift supported multiple SignWriting symbol sets, and could save signs in multiple formats, including SignWriting Markup Language (SWML).

SWift was developed as part of a research project on designing user-centered software by and for Deaf people. It has not been distributed as a software application for general use.

SWift was developed by C.S. Bianchini, F. Borgia, and M. De Marsico.
